Arrival in Tanzania at Kilimanjaro International Airport on day one is a sensory immersion into the heart of East Africa, with Mount Kilimanjaro majestically dominating the horizon. The welcoming atmosphere, vibrant Swahili conversations, and scents of earth and spices in the air signal the beginning of an unforgettable journey in the enchanting land of Tanzania. You will be meeting with Africa Natural Tours & Safaris driver at the airport and be transferred to the hotel in Moshi for overnight

After breakfast, depart Tarangire for Lake Manyara for a day of exploring its diverse landscapes. Early morning game drive for the “Big Five” amidst golden savannah, rivers, and diverse wildlife Picnic in the heart of the park, featuring Soda Lake, varied ecosystems, and over four hundred bird species. Encounter tree-climbing lions, water buffalo, African elephants, giraffes, impalas, and hippos. Later, head to Karatu for an overnight stay.
Early morning departure from Arusha to Serengeti National Park, following a road near the Ngorongoro Crater rim for potential animal sightings. The journey unveils golden savannahs and endless plains, alive with wildebeests and giraffes, showcasing why the Serengeti is a natural wonder of Africa. A picnic lunch awaits on Naabai Kopje, offering views of Serengeti’s renowned pink-headed lizards. Afterward, a leisurely game drive through the plains precedes an overnight stay in Central Serengeti.
After breakfast, embark on a game drive to Kogatende, exploring kopjes for carnivores and observing the Wildebeest Migration gearing up to cross the Mara River into Kenya. The river, inhabited by hippos and Nile crocodiles, is the migration’s final challenge. If fortunate, witness the daring river crossing as wildebeests and zebras brave the currents. Dinner and overnight stay in North Serengeti
Wake up at 5:00 a.m. for a balloon ride in northern Serengeti, accommodating 16 people in large balloons. After the 1-hour ride, enjoy breakfast in the bush. Continue with a game drive in Kogatende and Bologonja, focusing on the Great Migration. Have a picnic lunch under an acacia tree with a view of the migration and Maasai Mara. If lucky, witness the crossing at the Mara River. Return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay. Accommodation: Full-board basis
We will proceed for a full-day game drive in the Mara area, witnessing the great migration. Wagakuria boasts high resident wildlife numbers, centered around the Mara River. There’s a chance to see herds cross the river, a spectacle influenced by luck and timing. The region features kopjes, woodland, riverine vegetation, and open plains. After the late afternoon drive, return to camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
After breakfast, drive through the Togoro plains and Mbuzi Mawe kopjes, crossing the Banagi River into Seronera in Central Serengeti. Encounter diverse wildlife, from dik-diks to towering elephants. Seronera, or ‘big cat country,’ offers chances to spot lions, cheetahs, and leopards amid kopjes and acacias. Explore hippo pools and vast spaces for abundant game viewing.
After breakfast, we head back to Ngorongoro Crater National Park. The drive traverses the Serengeti through a different route, providing ample opportunities to spot animals missed on day two. Witness vast herds of wildebeests, zebras, giraffes, antelopes, and elephants. Look out for predators like cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, and the majestic lion. Dinner and overnight on the Ngorongoro rim
After an early breakfast, rush to Ngorongoro Crater for optimal animal spotting. Enjoy a game drive, stopping for a picnic lunch at a lake teeming with hippos and migratory birds. The crater’s “oasis” increases the chances of seeing ‘The Big 5’. After a delightful afternoon of wildlife sightings, commence the journey back to Arusha.
Commence an exciting day as you leave Arusha and take a flight to Zanzibar. Departing from the vibrant mainland, your journey will transport you to the enchanting island of Zanzibar. Upon arrival, immerse yourself in the island’s rich cultural tapestry, explore historic Stone Town and relax on pristine beaches with turquoise water. This day promises a seamless blend of adventure, offering a taste of both the bustling mainland and the serene beauty of Zanzibar’s tropical paradise.
